Heaven’s Burning still amaze me. Every time I listen to this, it’s amazing. The songs are a sort of poppy punk, but with a definite darker element. The two women who currently comprise the band take turns with vocals, making for a nice mix during the middle of the disc. As far as tunes that have me by the throat, I have to say ‘Shake This World’ has got to be the one, followed closely by ‘Gun In Your Purse’ and ‘Butterfly Psychosis’. This is what the world is waiting for; they just need to be smacked upside the head first.
